What Will You Believe?

1

I BELIEVE IN

I believe in the only true God
I believe in you father
I believe in your only begotten son
Yes I believe in you Jesus

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. -John 17:3
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. -Romans 15:6
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. -John 3:18
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? -1 John 5:5

2

I BELIEVE IN

And I believe that you are God in the highest sense,
And that you were with God from all eternity!
And I believe just what you said, “I and the my father are one”
One true God, the only true God.

“Christ was God essentially, and in the highest sense. He was with God from all eternity.” -RH April 5, 1906, par. 6
I and my Father are one. -John 10:30
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? -John 14:9

3

I BELIEVE IN

I believe in the Holy Spirit
Yes, I believe in you Holy Ghost
I believe you are the third person of the Godhead,
Being God you know the mind of God,
One true God, the only true God!

“… but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.” -Matthew 12:31
“….the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Godhead….” - 1888 1493.2
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. -1 Corinthians 2:10-11
” ….the Spirit, being God, knoweth the mind of God; therefore in every prayer of ours for the sick, or for other needs, the will of God is to be regarded. -Signs of the Times, October 3, 1892.

4

I BELIEVE IN

I believe in the three persons of the heavenly Trio,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
The three highest powers in the universe,
Omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, eternal, infinite,
One true God, the only true God.

There are three living persons of the heavenly trio; in the name of these three great powers—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—those who receive Christ by living faith are baptized, and these powers will co-operate with the obedient subjects of heaven in their efforts to live the new life in Christ. —Special Testimonies, Series B, No. 7, pp. 62, 63. (1905)
“He [Christ] was equal with God, infinite and omnipotent.”…. “He is the eternal, self-existent Son.” -Ms101-1897
“As a Christian submits to the solemn rite of baptism, the three highest powers in the universe—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—place Their approval on his act, pledging Themselves to exert Their power in his behalf as he strives to honor God. He is buried in the likeness of Christ’s death, and is raised in the likeness of His resurrection....” -RC 107.

5

I BELIEVE IN

And I believe that when I am distressed,
Know not how to relate myself to my work,
I can call in prayer upon the three great heavenly Worthies,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit and they shall answer my prayer as,
One true God, the only true God.

“When I feel oppressed, and hardly know how to relate myself toward the work that God has given me to do, I just call upon the three great Worthies, and say; You know I cannot do this work in my own strength. You must work in me, and by me and through me, sanctifying my tongue, sanctifying my spirit, sanctifying my words, and bringing me into a position where my spirit shall be susceptible to the movings of the Holy Spirit of God upon my mind and character. And this is the prayer that every one of us may offer…” -7MR 267, 268.

6

I BELIEVE IN

And I believe that in glory,
When we have touched with skill the strings of the golden harp,
We will fall on our faces and worship
Father, son and Holy Spirit.
And it will be no sin then, as it is no sin now to worship the
One true God, the only true God.

“And then the golden harps are touched, and the music flows all through the heavenly host, and they fall down and worship the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” -Ms139-1906
Others will say: “I was a heathen in heathen lands. You left your friends and comfortable home, and came to teach me how to find Jesus and believe in Him as the only true God. -6T 311.
